"Let's Build Our Children's Education"
"Let's Make a Difference in the Education of Our Teenagers in Need"
We have set a new goal to raise 25 million rupees (US $334,000) for the education and training of destitute children in Nepal. At th
e present time we have obtained one million rupees (US $13,335), which have helped a very small portion of the orphans, disabled children, and children living on the streets.
These children have committed no crime of their own by being extremely poor, disabled, having socially irresponsible parents or having no parents at all. Malnutrition strikes these children leaving them physically and mentally weak. Every child should have the right to an education; however, their present situation does not allow them the opportunity. Many youth do not know the importance of an education, nor do their parents who struggle to feed them. Moreover, many small children under 10 years old must work to support their livelihood.
We have a great love for our country and know the need to help these children is great. The Scholarship Revolving Fund -1998 from now on called SRF-1998 (also known in Nepali as Chhatrabritti Akshaya Kosh-2054) came into existence for these children. We know you are well aware of the situation of the children and youth in Nepal. As young children they face a difficult life ahead and as they become teenagers it is increasingly difficult to find work without an education. If given a chance these children would take advantage of schooling and training programs offered to them.
We have provided support for certain children to receive an education and as the SRF-1998 grows we would like to help even more children. It is our desire to extend our program worldwide and with your help it is possible. We are always looking for new ways to build SRF-1998 into a prosperous organization not to benefit its members but to benefit disadvantaged children. We Love Our Children:
Remember the children, their need for an education and their future career. They are in need of your sincere help.

| • | They work hard in wealthy homes under the age of 13. |
| • | They are always in scarcity of books, notebooks, pencils, bags and education. |
| • | Some of them are deformed due to malnutrition. |
| • | Some of them are mentally retarded. |
| • | They are disabled by birth or accident. |
| • | They are the children of very careless parents and have found themselves at risk. |
| • | They do not know about children rights. |
| • | They do not go to school because they have to work for livelihood. |
| • | They lost their parents before their early childhood. |
| • | Some of them are girls and so they have no chance of schooling as their parents think they will get married and leave them when they grow up young. |
| • | Their parents do not see the relation of education to employment. |
| • | They are almost illiterate. |
| • | They are from such a poverty stricken background that they never have the chance to think of education. |
| • | They have never found love, affection, or help from their better off neighbors. |
Our institution "The Scholarship Revolving Fund-1998" tries to do something good for them especially for their schooling (education).
